December 8 2011 – HONG KONG–In the spirit of “enriching travel, enriching life”, Nuance-Watson (HK) (NWHK) is taking the joyful Christmas festival to launch another volunteer staff service programme entitled “Time to Give – WE Care ·WE Share”at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) between November 28 and December 27, ever since the “WE SUPPORT” anti-crisis event in support of retail recovery during economic downturn in 2009.
Same as the 2009 event, 100 NWHK managers and back office staff will dedicate a total of 800 hours of their time to work in the company’s anchor stores at HKIA to greet and motivate customers. In the light of “Time to Give”, every customer entering NWHK stores is offered with a welcome gift and the generous smile of our staff. To reward customers’ purchases, the company simultaneously launched various attractive Gift-with-Purchase promotions, offering many festive extras to those making purchases at The Atrium and The Plaza department stores, Temptation beauty stores, Sound & Vision electronics stores as well as various luxury brand boutiques. The many attractive gifts of delights include branded scrumptious chocolates, deluxe beauty travel gift sets and 4GB USB.
NWHK has always been committed to providing customers with the unique satisfaction of enjoying shopping while caring for the less fortunate. To this end, NWHK has further extended this volunteer staff service programme to raise funds for “Save the Children” in support of its relief work for children in the developing countries worldwide.
Embracing the campaign vision of “WE Care ·WE Share”, the 100 back office staff will invite customers in stores to help alleviate child poverty by donating their leftover change to “Save the Children”. In reinforcing the initiative’s “giving and sharing” message, while customers make their kind donations, they will be given a heart-warming goodie bag with mini gifts inside which worth HK$20. Such inspiring action is realised under the generous support from NWHK’s brand partners. The many brands who have sponsored the goodie bag gifts include: Godiva, Guylian, Paton's, Lindt, Ferrero, Kraft (Toblerone, Daim, Cadbury), Amala, Biotherm, Bottega Veneta, Calvin Klein, Chloe, Davidoff, Helena Rubinstein, Issey Miyake, Jean Paul Gaultier, Kiehl’s, Lancôme, Marc Jacobs, Narciso Rodriguez, Ralph Lauren, Salvatore Ferragamo, Vera Wang, Versace and YSL. In addition, “Save the Children” donation boxes are prominently placed on the counter tops across 26 NWHK stores. Such a widespread fund raising programme is sure to make travellers’ journeys more meaningful this festive season.
